Stroll hand in hand through the palace park, have a romantic picnic or visit the palace and let yourself be enchanted. It gets particularly romantic here at Christmas time, when the famous Christmas market opens its doors and invites you to enjoy plenty of romance and mulled wine. This is not only the oldest zoo in Germany, but also the most species-rich in the world. Zoo Berlin is home to over 20,000 animals from all over the world. It also offers great experiences for children with a petting zoo and great playgrounds.
