The most beautiful weekly markets in Charlottenburg
Slowly but surely, it’s getting warmer and the sun is coming out more and more often – spring in Berlin is clearly in the starting blocks. So it’s time again for numerous outdoor activities such as a visit to a flea market or a trip to one of Berlin’s many beautiful weekly markets.
In our beautiful Charlottenburg in particular, you will find a large selection of weekly markets that have one thing in common: a neighbourhood feel meets indulgence. In addition to a wide range of fresh, regional foods, you will often also find incredibly beautiful flowers or handmade goods – and the odd nice chat with Berliners and other tourists.
Weekly market on Preußenallee
If you are in Berlin on a Tuesday or Friday, the weekly market on Preußenallee is a real must! It is the largest weekly market in Charlottenburg and in summer you can expect to find up to 200 stalls with everything your heart desires: fish, meat, organic products, exotic spices, fruit, vegetables and handicrafts. You can easily spend a few hours here and if you get hungry, you can treat yourself to a sweet or savoury snack at a snack bar.

Weekly market on Richard-Wagner-Platz
The weekly market on Richard-Wagner-Platz is definitely one of the most beautiful markets in Charlottenburg. There you will find a huge selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, textiles, plants and flowers. Simply browse through the various stalls, have a chat with the stall holders and let yourself be enchanted by the almost informal atmosphere. The market is also very popular with Berliners, so it is often a little busier. But that’s exactly what makes the weekly market on Richard-Wagner-Platz so charming.

Opening hours: Monday and Thursday 8:00-13:00
Weekly market on Karl-August-Platz
Another weekly market in Charlottenburg that we would highly recommend is the one on Karl-August-Platz. It is one of the oldest weekly markets in our district and has been offering a large selection of products that are presented with great passion for over 125 years. Here you can find organic fruit and vegetables from the region as well as antipasti and other Mediterranean specialities. And if you like flowers, you’ve also come to the right place.

Weekly market at Klausenerplatz
Do you prefer things a little smaller and quieter? Then we recommend the weekly market on Klausenerplatz. It invites you to browse and shop in a relaxed atmosphere. Here you’ll find fresh organic produce from the region and a nice chat or two. And while you’re there, you should also take a stroll through the beautiful Klausen neighbourhood – it’s well worth it.

Farmers’ market at Lehniner Platz
Every Saturday, Lehniner Platz near the Schaubühne theatre is transformed into a popular farmers’ market. Farmers from the region come together to present their products, from fruit and vegetables to delicious honey and fresh, fragrant bread. The stall owners are also known for being happy to tell you more about their products. So if you like, you can also learn something here.
