The ‘Bocca di Lupo’ opened its doors a few days ago and is the new reference in terms of Italian restaurants on the Kudamm. As guests of our boutique hotel, you have the special privilege of dining in a pleasant ambience with Mediterranean cuisine under the same roof. Find out more about the new address for good food on Berlin’s famous Ku’damm in this article.
Bocca di Lupo in Berlin
The Italian restaurant ‘Bocca di Lupo’ opened its doors a few days ago. An authentic Italian restaurant awaits you here, combining delicious Mediterranean cuisine with fresh fish, high-quality steaks, homemade pasta and exquisite wines and grappa with a cosy atmosphere overlooking the Ku’damm.
Behind it all is Fatos Xhafolli, a restaurateur from Prishtina in Kosovo, who has not enjoyed culinary success in Berlin for the first time. He came to Berlin with his brother Labinot in 1995, has been working in the catering industry ever since and has gained a lot of experience during his career as a restaurant manager. Fatos has been running the restaurant ‘La Gondola Due’ on Mexikoplatz since 2008. This is an elegant restaurant with ceiling-high wine racks and serves refined Italian dishes. Fatos has now firmly adopted his nickname ‘Mario’ with a wink.

Where does the name ‘Bocca di Lupo’ come from and what does the future hold?
Literally translated, ‘bocca di lupo’ means ‘mouth of the wolf’. Italians usually use a similar expression, ‘in bocca al lupo’, to wish each other luck, especially before an exam or other important date. And of course we also wish our new partners good luck and look forward to working with them.
As Fatos and his team are restaurateurs with a passion for their profession and many years of experience, we are sure that their goal of making the ‘Bocca di Lupo’ an established restaurant in Berlin will certainly succeed.
It should be a harmonious place in Louisa’s Place for both local and (hotel) guests from all over the world to celebrate La Dolce Vita. With a refined cuisine, fresh and high-quality products and an exquisite variety of wines, including the wines of our host Pierre Ehret from the Ehret Winery in California, it certainly has the best prerequisites for this! Come and see for yourself during your visit…
Your advantage as a house guest at Bocca di Lupo
As a guest of Louisa’s Place, you have direct access to the restaurant from our boutique hotel. Enjoy an exciting day in the capital and dine cosily in the evening in the hotel restaurant, which is just a few steps away from your suite.
Apart from the fact that we, as hoteliers, are looking forward to offering our guests a new culinary highlight, we are endeavouring to create special offers for you to make a stay at our Boutique Hotel Louisa’s Place even more attractive for you. That’s why we have, for example, jointly developed the ‘Long break on a bridge day’ special. Use the public holidays in May and June for a spring break in Berlin and enjoy three nights in one of our deluxe suites with separate living room and bedroom and sunny balcony. Indulge in culinary delights, whether it’s the daily breakfast buffet on the terrace with a view of the greenery or dinner with a unique 3-course menu in the ‘Bocca di Lupo’.
Book your three-day weekend or contact us for more information on this topic.
If you are unable to come to Berlin at this time, we will be happy to reserve a table for you at ‘Bocca di Lupo’ on any other day! Or do you need a room to celebrate a special event? Would you like to celebrate a wedding, a birthday, a meeting with a seated dinner or a company event – and perhaps your guests should be able to fall into bed straight afterwards?
Contact us and tell us about your plans. We will be happy to create a personalised and tailor-made offer for unforgettable moments at Louisa’s Place and ‘Bocca di Lupo’!
