Our travel recommendation for unforgettable summer holidays in Berlin 2025
Berlin is a city full of life and diversity, offering numerous sights and activities for families. A visit to Museum Island is not only a cultural enrichment, but also an opportunity to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of art and history with your family. Museum Island is also celebrating its 200th anniversary in 2025 and a programme full of festivities of all kinds awaits you throughout the summer.
After an inspiring visit to the museum, Berlin’s numerous parks and gardens, not to mention the Berlin Zoo and Tiergarten, invite you to enjoy nature and spend relaxing hours outdoors. The Tiergarten is of course the largest park in Berlin and the Botanical Garden is certainly the most beautiful. Or how about a visit to the Peacock Island on the outskirts of the city, so beloved by our patron saint Queen Luise of Prussia? Here, children can play and watch the free-roaming peacocks at close quarters, while adults can enjoy the peace and quiet away from it all with a view of the lush greenery and water.
Berlin also offers a wide range of family-friendly events, from exciting festivals to thrilling workshops that promote learning through play.
